Let's go down the old rumor mill and see what's happening there these days, shall we? We heard not one but two rumors to satisfy your thirst for the iPod and its variants.

The first one is, Apparently, Apple is planning to introduce touch-screen interface for the iPods. Now there might actually be some truth in this one, as Apple has filed a patent for such an interface. Whether it'll make it to the next gen iPods or it will just serve to prevent others from releasing something similar is not yet known.

The iPod nano, on the other hand, is expected to come out in an all-new design, including a new Samsung processor. No clues if the on-board memory will be upgraded, but we can bet it's going to be bigger.
