Apple iPhone Updates
The long-awaited Apple iPhone was announced this week at MacWorld in San Francisco, and since then there's been a good deal of rumors and buzz surrounding the phone. Today, a few more details about the device and the whole Cisco iPhone trademark issue have come to light.
The iPhone Trademark:
Cisco has held a trademark on the term "iPhone" since 2000, when they bought the rights off of another company. They had spoken with Apple in recent weeks about the use of the term, and posted a statement regarding the issue on their website. Cisco has also filed a lawsuit against Apple for the use of the term. Apple has responded by calling the lawsuit "silly", and insists that should it come down to a court decision, Apple is confident that they would win because the term iPhone is not one that has been used in the mobile phone market, and believes that the trademark Cisco has does not cover that realm.

The iPhone European Release:
Forbes is reporting that the iPhone in Europe will have 3-G capability before launching in Europe, and that iPhone won't be available in Europe for another year. 3G is available in large cities in the US and is spreading quickly, so why no 3G version here?
iPhone Video Demonstration:
A demonstration video of the iPhone by CBS news has been posted on YouTube. Check it out here.
