imac_intel.jpgAs you've probably read by now, see my previous post I am hyped up as usual by Steve Job's latest keynote announcements. Aside from the new dual core MacBook Pro Apple also released a new and improved Apple iMac.

The new iMac is Apple's very first intel bases system. It promised to be 2x faster than its predecessor. It runs the Intel Core Duo processor and comes in an 17-inch 1.83GHz (MA199LL) and a 2GHz 20-inch model (MA200LL). They also get better graphics chips based on ATI Radeon X1600 graphics processor using PCI express.

Mostly everything aside from the intel chip are the same since the last Apple iMac update was just a couple of months ago. You'll still get FrontRow, PhotoBoth, and a Built-in iSight. Standard features also include 8x SuperDrive, WiFi, Bluetooth, and Gigabit Ethernet.

Order online now and get your new iMac within 1-3 working days. It's $1,299 for the 17-inch model(MA199LL) and $1,699 for the 20-inch model (MA200LL).
