Alcatel OT-E801a Cell Phone Approved by FCC

Music phones are the order of the day, in case you haven't noticed. Alcatel is also in the fray, with their Alcatel OT-E801a cell phone. With microSD support and a USB interface for fast transfer of songs from your PC, the player supports MP3 files.

There seems to be no mention of other formats like AAC/eAAC+/OGG on the phone which is a little sad. However, it can display the ID3 tags from the file. Plus, for personalization, the MP3 player is skinnable.

Other standard features are available as usual, including Alarm, Calculator and a couple of games thrown in. In all, this seems more of an entry-level music phone from Alcatel.
