Alcatel OT-C560a Gets FCC NodAlcatel has upgraded the OT-C550a cell phone to a new version, the OT-C560a - which has gained the approval from FCC. The records indicate that apart from the SIM holder, the phone has undergone significant mechanical modifications, as well as an upgraded antenna.

The included camera has a self-timer option. So much for the hardware. The software set looks similar to the OT-C550a, including a WAP browser and Java for a few games. You can send SMS and MMS messages using the phone. It also includes a sound recorder. What I like most about this phone is the arrangement of keys. Still, the phone seems to be mostly an entry-level one.

Details should be available on Alcatel soon.
