Aigo revealed a new digital audio player yesterday, the device that has been launched on the Chinese market is code named Patriot MP-F986. It's a rugged player with an elliptical shape that has the baby blue color in some details while white and silver gray take up the rest of the player. It might look big in dimensions but actually it isn't, the 68x47x16mm makes it weight 43grams only. The OLED LCD screen has a resolution of 160x128 pixels with 260,000 colors, and it can display AVI video files, JPEG photos/images and text files too. On the audio files it supports MP3, WMA and OGG and still has FM radio.

The Patriot MP-F986 comes in 512MB and 1GB versions, which I think it is too little for the current standards, there is no information about the price. Other interesting features include the possibility to make use of specific audio files as the alarm clock, and SRS sound effects.
