Dual-core processing is the new "in". Acer America reiterated their belief in the dual-core technology by unleashing the new Acer TravelMate 8200 notebook PC, featuring Intel Centrino Mobile Technology Duo platform (also called NAPA, if you're into codenames).
Thanks to dual-core technology, the Acer 8200 notebook is all set to replace your desktop - it's that powerful, and also comes with stability and security expected for any business use. Available in a cool-looking folio design and carbon-fiber cover (used in F1 racing, no less). A 15.4" widescreen TFT graces the notebook with a staggering 1680x1050 pixel resolution.
With speeds up to 2.16GHz and a 677MHz FSB, the base RAM plugged in is 1GB, and you can max out to 2GB. Wireless is the way, thanks to the included Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG. When it comes to graphics, the Acer TravelMate 8200 uses ATI MOBILITY RADEON X1600 graphics card with 512MB Hypermemory (pity 256MB of that is shared with system memory).
Other goodies, rather necessities, include: 5-in-1 card-reader, 4 USB 2.0 ports, 1 PC Card slot, IEEE 1394 port, External VGA port, RJ-45 (Ethernet) and S-Video/TV-Out among others.
