inner_main_tm4230.gifAcer’s new laptop, the TravelMat 4230, has a 15.4” inch screen, 120 GB hard drive, and a load features worth bragging about.

This digital notebook comes with Genuine Windows XP Professional and Home Editions, and is also Windows Vista Capable. It also features the Intel Core 2 Duo processor (the latest in Intel Centrino Duo mobile technology) that can deliver excellent multitasking performance as well as wireless connectivity. It comes with Acer SignalUp which can optimize WiFi signal and range. Not only that, but WiFi and CCX-V4 compatible wireless security is designed to protect your data.

The graphics are also exciting with the included 256 MB NVIDIA GeForce Go 7300 with TurboCache technology (great for gamers!) and Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) 950. It comes with four USB 2.0 ports, as well as a DVD-Super Multi or DVD-dual double-layer drive for burning 8.5 GB CDs. The headphones, speaker, and line-out port support 7.1 channel Surround Sound and two-channel stereo output.

The TravelMate 4230 comes with a long battery life of 5 hours, and uses Acer QuicCharge technology. The Acer Disk Anti-Shock Protection insulates the hard disk from the bumps of daily use.

It also has Enhanced Bluetooth 2.0 for fast file-transfer. Also optional is an Acer Bluetooth VOIP phone and Intel High Definition audio to give fast, high-quality business communication.
