F5000n.jpgAcer will begin worldwide shipment of Ferrari series notebooks at the end of July, Do you still remember the Ferrari 1000 and 5000 series notebooks? Acer unveiled both of these notebooks on the 28th of May. Both Ferrari 1000 and 5000 models will each be priced at about 2,000Euros which is about USD2,543. It's flaming hot and I’m sure you will be satisfied on the specifications. Just to refresh your mind, both notebooks are powered by AMD Turion 64 x 2 Mobile Technology and has the new 64-bit architecture. All the functions and features are managed with Acer Empowering technology where with just a single touch of the button lets users take full control over the notebook's security, performance, settings and communications. Ferrari 5000 boasts a 15.4-inch TFT LCD which comes with a handy Acer VoIP Bluetooth phone and the Acer Video Conference solutions that includes the Acer OrbiCam, a 1.3-megapixel webcam. It also comes with a complete WLAN, WPAN with built-in Bluetooth 2.0 module, LAN connection and high storage capacity up to 160GB HDD. You will have the choice of a slot-loading DVD-Super Multi double-layer drive or the HD-DVD drive. What about Ferrari 1000? This notebook goes out to the gamers. ATI Radeon XPress 1150 chipset with 512MB HyperMemory allows the 12.1-inch Acer CrystalBrite widescreen to display stunning visuals. Both Ferrari laptops may come with Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition or Microsoft Windows Professional Edition and of course it's Windows Vista Capable. Are you going to get one for yourself?
