Acer N310/N311 Handheld

Acer announced two new handsets, the N310 and N311, running Windows Mobile 5.0 operating system, 64 megs of RAM and expansion for memory and peripherals through the included SD slot.

The N310 is lightweight at just 135 grams, measuring a sleek 110 x 70 x 14 millimeters. It features Bluetooth 1.2 compatibility. Running a 300MHz processor, it comes with 64MB of ROM and VGA (640x480 pixel) resolution display on a largish 3.7" screen in portrait mode.

The N311 has all the features of the N310, with the addition being Wi-Fi capability and 128MB of ROM. The processor is faster, running at 400 MHz. Given a choice, I'd go in for the N311 solely because of the Wi-Fi support.

More information about N310 and N311 is available from Acer's website.
