The Acer Ferrari Line Up is very soon going to welcome a brand new member which is sleeker than its predecessor. The new Ferrari 1005WTMi is an ultra mobile notebook and is equipped with a 12 inch TFT WXGA display. The first thing that stands out is the notebook’s sleek ergonomics and its ultra compact size. This one too has a glossy exterior and sports the trademark Ferrari color combo.

The new notebook draws its power from AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-60 processor and has the ATI XPRESS 1150 Chipset. Graphics are provided by the ATI Radeon X1150 chipset and another cool feature is the Acer Orbicam (1.3 MP) for video telephony. This one too is on display at the IFA and as expected drawing a lot of attention!

When it comes to connectivity and multi-media options, the notebook promises the best. With options like Gigabit Ethernet , Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g and Bluetooth 2.0 EDR and Extensions ports like AC adapter, Docking-port, Firewire, Infra-red, Line In, LineOut, RJ-11, RJ-45, S/PDIF, S-video ,USB 2.0 and VGA-out it takes care to provide the utmost functionality. Via the optional VOIP Phone one is able to make free or low cost calls and the Kensington Lock slot protects the notebook from unauthorized access.
