Acer%20CS-6530.jpgThe new Acer CS-6530 is the latest Point And Shoot on the block and was first exhibited at the IFA 2006 in Germany. When it comes to the features, there is nothing ground-breaking and the digicam has a 6.16 Megapixel resolution under its hood.

The new digicam apart from a standard 6 MP resolution also sports a 3x Optical zoom and the Acer Precision Lens. The LCD display measures the usual 2.5 inch and it has a resolution of 201,096. From the entire feature set one can see that Acer has targeted the digicam at the casual shooter who believes in no frills photography and would prefer using Auto settings over Manual settings.

Measuring 89x55x24, the camera has a Video Mode which captures movies at 15 fps and for connectivity there is USB 1.1. It only supports JPEG and ISO settings range from 50 to 200! Other features include Flash Modes like anti red-eye; auto; fill; in; off, a Secure Digital Card Slot ands White Balance Settings which include auto; cloudy; daylight fluorescent; incandescent; manual. No word on pricing or availability.
