The new Acer Aspire 9810 is available in two models, the 20.1" WXSGA+ and the 19" WXGA+ widescreen notebook and draws power from the current favorite Intel® Core™ 2 Duo processor with Intel® Extended Memory 64 Technology (EM64T). The Acer CrystalBrite™ high-brightness LCD gives a display of more than 200 nits and promises unrivaled video performance.

While you may not exactly want to lug around the Aspire 9810, this one does have some sweet spots like 320 GB Serial ATA dual hard disk, built-in Acer 3DSonic / Acer BasSonic audio with Dolby®1 Digital Live, DTS CONNECT™ support, and DTS INTERACTIVE™ and DTS NEO:PC™ technologies. Gamers may also drool over the Windows Vista™ ready NVIDIA® GeForce® Go 7600 with dedicated 256 MB GDDR2. The Acer Arcade lets one browse pictures, burn music, play DVDs, edit video etc all from a single interface and the notebook is also equipped with mirror-finish media keys on the left side of the keyboard. When it comes hard core connectivity this one has all the usual stuff like connectivity options like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi with Acer SignalUp™ technology that boosts the wireless signals for uninterrupted networking. One can also receive TV5 broadcasts thanks to the onboard hybrid digital/analog TV-tuner.

The new Acer Aspire 9810 has a space saving slot-load DVD-Super Multi double-layer drive and is also equipped with a DVI-D port and a HD DVD8 capable ODD.
