For the budget conscious, Acer has a new offering in the Acer Aspire 3103 WLCi laptop. The 3103 WLCi is a 64-bit notebook powered by a 1.8GHz AMD Sempron 3400+ processor. Acer has thrown in 512MB of memory on it, as well as a decent 60GB hard drive (5,400 rpm).

Display is handled by an ATi Radeon Express 1100 chipset. The laptop features a 15.4" display and comes with the usual toppings of ports, including 3 USB, one VGA-out, a 5-in-1 memory card reader and Wi-Fi.

The Acer Aspire 3103 WLCi is also equipped with a 56k modem for the good ol' times and a DVD burner. Priced at around ¥80,000 (approx. US $680), it should be available in Japan soon.
