Samsung SGH-X830 Music Phone

samsungx830.jpgThe Samsung X830 is not new to the Whack and was first featured here in its Pink Avatar. So it only makes sense that the company releases it in a boring mmm I mean neutral shade. Thus meet the new Samsung X830 which is also a GSM version of the Korean SPH-S4300.

Thanks to its GSM support, this one is usable in the United States and this ultra-slim phone seeks to be the perfect music phone. Lofty ambitions? Maybe but hey Samsung does get it right most of the time! The first thing that stands out is its keypad which has just 2 columns instead of the usual 3 rows. Thus this slider phone would be easier to hold though it may take some time get use to it.

It includes navigational wheel for music control and has a memory of 1GB which is not bad for a music phone. In all probability it lacks a memory card slot, however nothing is confirmed yet. Other features include 1.3 megapixel camera , 128x220 screen and support to formats like MP3, WMA, OGG, DCF, and SMP. As of now no word on pricing or availability.
