Oh yes the suspense is over (thank god for that) and we finally know what Apple has up its sleeve! The colossal iPod is going to get bigger and better so if you are still one of those rare species who hasn’t jumped on the iPod bandwagon, well we suggest you do now.

Steve Jobs was pretty enthusiastic about the new and improved iPod which will now have battery life of about 6.5 hours and the screen is promised to be 60% brighter. The earphones have also undergone changes (for the better) and the new Gapless Playback feature makes sure all tracks “flow seamlessly”. Songs can be now be scrolled alphabetically and this one has some Games too!

Games like Zuma, Texas Holden, Mini Golf, Cubis 2, PacMan, Tetris!, More Tetris! Mah-jong will retail for $4.99 and the new iPods will be available in 30 and 80GB capacities. Wow that a whole lotta tunes! The 30GB model would retail for $249 and the 80GB for 349.
