The world is ruled by the iPod. The insane iPod accessories craze producers some really crazy stuff at times, but who would of ever thought someone would make a iPod iron, yes that's right folks I said a iPod iron, this is just nuts. Today a company called GEAR4, has done a world first by creating a iron for your iPod called iRon, now you can happily iron away while listening to your favorite songs and get this thanks to SteamTempo technology, the steam from the iron comes out in time with the beats of the music you are playing, fast, bass heavy tunes producing more steam and softer music providing less. Simplicity is the key to the iRon’s design, simply unfold the iRon fill with water, dock your iPod and “Steam Your Tunes.†The iRon uses the iPod’s battery for power and the steam jets are controlled by the tunes playing on the iPod. .
Tom Dudderidge, MD of GEAR4â„¢ commented “I’ve never been a big fan of ironing, but now, the iRonâ„¢ has made ironing fun. I’m a frequent business traveller and I often find myself in a hotel room with a creased shirt – I turn to my iRonâ„¢, and get down to some serious pressing. The whole “Spray and Play†idea is very exciting. I find that most Snoop Doggy Dog tracks on the iRonâ„¢ will transform even the most wrinkled garment in minutes, whereas Barbara Streisand or Barry Manilow is perfect for less resistant clothes and Bach is just great for silks and other delicate fabrics. The iRon was inspired by an entry on the pimpyaplayer website, and it’s a great example of Gear4’s continuing drive to find new and exiting ways to “Free your tunesâ€.
For more info about iRon , made for and driven by Apple’s iPod , visit www.Gear4.com The iRon is available through all usual GEAR4 outlets, and online at Gear4’s store www.gear4store.com.

Not a day goes by, when we don’t mention the four letter word. Relax, I mean the iPod (Though I know what you were thinking!). News is in that Griffin Technology is going to release the iTalkPro exclusively for 5G iPods very soon. This little bugger is actually quite handy and is a top notch recording accessory which features two internal microphones for recording in CD-quality stereo. An upgrade to the iTalks for 3G and 4G iPods, the new iTalk features a brand new design where the black and red combination looks extremely chic. Delving into the iTalkPro a little further one comes across a bottom-mounted port and an on-screen menu. The iTalkPro is capable of recording up to 3.5 hours of continuous data on a 6OGB iPod and 1.5 hours on a 30GB model. The files are saved in high-bit rate WAV format and the iTalkPro adds its own menu in the iPod thus forsaking the need to add buttons on the body.
