Seagate expects the ST1.3 Series to be a runaway hit as not only the storage capacity increased by 50%; the power consumption has been reduced by at least 30%. To make the product more attractive Seagate has included an optional drop sensor for increased sturdiness.
ST1.3 Series 12GB 1-inch hard drive is the perfect solution for processes like mobiles, digital and portable players with humongous storage of 12 GB and a smaller footprint. This hard drive has features which have never been seen before like RunOn Technology and G-Force Protection. While former protects user devices like mobiles, PDA, mp3 players from high-motion activities by keeping the read heads on track. The Latter protects devices from bumps, shock and even the trauma from a product dropping.
