What would be a cool accessory to go with the Sony Ericsson C905, you say? Well, SE has just the thing for you: the Sony Ericsson MBW-150 Bluetooth Watch (Music Edition). The folks over at PureMobile sent us one of the latest units for review.
Packaging
The phone comes in a pretty big box – not something you would expect for a watch. But then again, that’s because packaging includes the charger as well. The watch comes in its own box, just like any other watch.
Bluetooth Music Control
With support for the Bluetooth Audio/Video Remote Control Profile (AVRCP), the watch lets you control the music player on your phone. This is highly convenient especially when you are, say, on the treadmill because you won’t have to fiddle around with the controls on the phone with your sweaty hands.
You also get all sorts of notifications right on the watch: when you receive a text message, when someone calls you (it even displays the caller’s name, if the person is in your address book – else it will show the phone number).
The only complaint I have with the MBW-150 watch is that it is a class 2 Bluetooth device – with only a 10 metre range. If it were a class 1 device, you could’ve enjoyed a range of up to 100 metres – allowing you to conveniently get notifications even when you are far from your phone.
Charger
Check out the charger, with its own neat watch stand.
Pairing
Pairing the watch with your Bluetooth phone is easy – there is no need to type in even the usual “0000″ default pin code. On select Symbian phones, the watch will also display the track being played.
Availability
The watch is available now, in black and orange, and is priced at US $185.00. Check out the gallery after the link.

I have MBW-150 Sony Ericsson bluetooth watch. After 2 years display started to fade so now it is impossible to read even under cloudy day. Sony Ericsson Support answer was in short “Buy a new one”. For a wrist watch of that price I expected minimum of 5-10 years of life
