I have been playing around with the 8230 and as far as setting up contacts and sending text…same as the pearl! The start up time is slow but it is on EVERY Blackberry! I have had the Pearl and currently in the Curve and the start up time has always been lengthy! I am still up in the air about this phone..the trackball is my BIGGEST issue with it! (so far). I t just feels like it is TOO recessed! I have longer nails and it is a little tricky to navigate with. I think the clock on the screen is Amazing! I know it is new and all but hoping they come out with other colors soon!

Well seriously i dont like the phone and as just its a Black Berry it looks and sounds more precious and excited but with a 65k color display it is very annoying to use a cell with such a screen and the camera is very cheap and it also dont have a good voice
