Recorder is the name of the iPhone Application made by Retronyms that crossed the mark of 200,000 downloads.

In case you don’t know, Recorder lets iPhone and iPod (2G) users easily record and playback audio. Afterwards they can email it directly from the iPhone, or alternatively, transfer it to a computer via WiFi. In addition to Recorder there is another iPhone App called FourTrack, that is made for musicians to create multi-layer songs on the Apple Phone. Both applications are currently available at the App store.
