raytel-ego-drive.jpgRaytel has unveiled a new GPS navigation system at SEMA 2007, the new line called Ego includes some bluetooth hands-free speakerphones too, named Ego Talk and Ego Cup, while the real GPS device is called Ego Drive.

The Ego Drive is the top-notch device in this new lineup, and is a combination of a dockable GPS navigation system, a multimedia player, and last but not least, a wireless rotary remote control that can be easily placed anywhere in your car. The 4.3-inch color screen features touchscreen technology and is able to display views of the map in 3D mode. In the multimedia section, the Ego Drive supports audio, video, and image files on the following formats: MP3, WAV, MPEG-4, JPEG, and TIFF.

As always, there is a text-to-speech feature that reads the name of the streets and gives turn-by-turn information about the route.
