Here’s an eighties flashback that I have been wanting for quite a while. Even more than Hellfire!

The first time I played R-Type, it was on the Sega Genesis in the early nineties. It was and is a very addicting side scrolling shooter type very similar to Defender, but with even more complications. The word is that it is 100 percent true to the original video game, and can be controlled via tilt, touch, and virtual D-Pad.

I don’t have a release date, but it is “coming soon” from EA games.
