Qualcomm’s color e-book reader

While readers like the Nook have a touch of color, Qualcomm is working on an e-book reader with a full-color 5.7 inch color display. Granted, this isn’t the first time we’ve heard of a company doing this, so what makes the Qualcomm one any different?

Number one, it has an XGA Mirasol display that “allows for video playback, readable in direct sunlight, and has minimal impact on battery life”. That sounds pretty good, and Qualcomm hopes to have this out by the “latter part” of next year.
