Qualcomm Files Patent for Multi-Fold Display Mobile DeviceBy Brian - 03/13/2010 11:55:15 AM |
We are aware that there are a lot of foldable phones out there but it looks like Qualcomm has something up its sleeve. They have filed a new patent for a multi-fold mobile device which allows users to fold and unfold it resulting in a tablet-form like device.
The device features a processor that will execute at least one software application with a graphical interface and would respond to the folding configuration sensor. However, one fallback is that this device would be quite thick which may not really appeal to consumers going for smaller phones out in the market today. Give it time though as technology has a way to convert such things in transition.
