08 Jun 08 Qisda Dual Phone with WiMAX Support

Qsida is proposing a dual mode and WiMAX handset. The prototype doesn’t have a name yet but what’s in a name after all. This phone will support regular GSM/GPR/EDGE , 802.16e WiMAX and WiFi. Hooray for all that, when can we get one? How much does it cost? Can we have a bigger screen there? Is it a touchscreen>

This handset lacks 3G support which isn’t only disturbing but quite surprising. I would assume this is temporary and by the time this device goes on sale, more changes will be made to its current state. As for OS, this slider will use Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional which means you will have plenty of apps ready for that platform.
