post Category: Apple, Mobile News, Portable Devices post postJuly 19, 2008

It was only a week ago that we were discussing the iPhone Dev Team and their remarkable ability to unlock and jailbreak iPhones and the 3G iPhone in particular.

Later this week while waiting for their Pwnage Tool 2.0 to be released we heard there are some problems when it comes to unlocking the 3G iPhone. Apparently jailbreaking was ok, and once done, you can install both Apple and non-Apple apps on your iPhone (no matter what generation) and iPod. According to those news, the Dev Team wasn’t going to release the software anytime soon.

And now, their official blog, simply says:

We love Sundays. We think you will too.

Check the printscreen above. Does it mean that tomorrow, iPhone owners all over the world will have access to the Pwnage Tool 2.0?
