Problems with Rogers Network/HTC Dream and Magic over?By Mark Rollins - 01/24/2010 7:05:33 PM |
Some of you may remember when we reported that the Rogers Network halted sales and upgrades on the HTC Dream. The problem was with the 911 calls failing with the GPS enabled. Apparently, this was a problem with the Magic as well, but there is now a fix.
In fact, Rogers is telling customers to get this new patch or their customer’s Internet will be cut off. Yes, that is an inconvenience, but Rogers is planning on making it up to customers by giving them one month’s worth of data.
Hopefully, this is the end of this particular affair.
