If you miss those Polaroid moments which were so popular at a certain time, you should try the Polaroid PoGo Instant Mobile Printer. It's a perfect solution for on the go pictures. Of course quality can't be asked
for. After all it's not a regular printer, but it will get the job done.

Connect your camera via PictBridge or any device via Bluetooth to this Polaroid Instant Mobile Printer and go printing. You wil get a 2 by 3 inch photo in about 2 minutes or so. There's no ink needed to print those pictures. This device uses a Zero Ink technology or ZINK. If you aren't familiar with it here's how it works. The paper has clear dye crystals embedded into it which is activated by heat. This is how images will be later formed in printers like the Polaroid PoGo. The paper includes a polymer at the exterior which will protect the images and give that traditional photo feeling.

That's right I am presenting a wireless laser printer. I have had my share of mishaps with printers, laser or not, old or new, USB or parallel, you name it. One of the biggest problems when working with multiple devices are cables and cords. Not only do you need plenty of space to arrange the power cables and then the connectors to your computer but you also need to make them look good. Especially if you are working in an office.

So it was only natural that more and more wireless (laser) printers get created.And now we have the Brother HL-2170W model ready to be purchased. Its price ranges from $99 to $150 with new cartridges priced at $45. If I was changing my printer I'd sure consider it. Imagine setting this baby up in the bathroom kitchen office and simply Wi-Fi all your documents over. Isn't that a cool thing to do?

Big corporate outfits are known to do their big bit in the ongoing battle against social issues afflicting the world today. To date, Microsoft and Dell have chipped in more than 57 million through their (RED) campaign to the ongoing fight against AIDS in Rwanda, Swaziland, and Ghana. In the same vein, the behemoths have now teamed up again to help customers make a difference in the fight against AIDS in Africa offering (RED) branded high-end products.

These products consist of Dell's premium XPS One (PRODUCT) RED PC, XPS M1330 and M1530 (PRODUCT) RED notebooks, and the 948 All-In-One (PRODUCT) RED printer. All RED PCs and notebooks will be powered Windows Vista Ultimate (PRODUCT) RED, making Microsoft the exclusive partner for all RED-branded Dell products. With each purchase, both the companies will contribute $50-$80 to the Global Fund and $5 Dell contribution for the RED-branded printer. All of the funds will be diverted to Global Fund-financed grants in Africa.

If the pictures on your mobile phone have been collecting dust for half a century, the new Polaroid Digital Instant Mobile Photo Printer could change that. The device presents a mobile solution for your photo printing needs. The printer is pocket sized and doesn't even use ink. How's that possible, you ask? Well, the product uses ZINK Zero Ink Photo Technology. Meaning, you can only use ZINK photo paper for it. The said photo paper already contains the colors yellow, cyan and magenta. The dyes are colorless before printing. What releases them during the printing process is heat. The printed pics are only a bit bigger than playing cards and they could be printed within seconds. You can connected the printer to your digicams via USB and via Bluetooth to your mobile phones.

Brother International Corporation has a new mobile printer coming out of their stables: the new Brother MW-260 mobile printer was recently found approved on the FCC's website. Capable of running either on batteries or an AC adapter.

A convenient Interface switch lets you choose between an IrDA (Infrared, anyone old enough to remember that?) or Bluetooth wireless interfaces for the printer. There's also a USB interface for wired printing.

The printer can be recharged to full capacity in about three hours. You can feed it paper from the paper cassette. Max resolution is 300 dpi x300 dpi and the MW-260 weighs in at 520 grams (about 1.15 lb), including battery and 50 sheets plain thermal paper. It should be in the markets soon.
