Ricoh Aficio 3045 Printer
Ricoh announced their new multifunctional product, the Aficio 3045 Series, now offering advanced faxing, improved security features and even a complete document management solution.
The Ricoh Aficio 3045 incorporates encryption to protect data from interception or tampering during transmission. Another level of security requires users to key in their Windows/LDAP auth credentials without which access is restricted to the network PC.
A neat feature is the Copy Prevention Control which embeds a pattern and text into the document when it is printed. If it is copied on the same or another Aficio 3045 device, the original text is grayed out. If that's not enough, why not have the DataOverwriteSecurity System (DOSS) in place? It ensures that the 3045's hard drive is overwritten with latent info after each print, scan or copy job is completed.
Bundled software includes DocumentMall, allowing users to store, edit, share and retrieve electronic documents from anywhere in the world via the Internet, while at the same time provides an easy way to streamline document management.
