Ricoh Aficio 3030 Multifunction
Ricoh unveiled the new Aficio 3030 Series of Multifunctional Products (MFPs), now served with faster print heads capable of printing 30ppm at 600dpi.
The Ricoh Aficio 3030 comes with 128MB of RAM (upgradeable to 384MB). It features such niceties as Scan to URL (where only a URL link is sent to access the document rather than the entire file) and PDF Direct Print (allowing the user to print PDF documents without having to open them on the desktop).
Access control can be configured at the control panel. The device also offers Windows/LDAP authentication. Basic print security features include store print and hold print, where the print job is held in memory until the originator releases the job at the control panel. Optional print interfaces include 802.11b, Bluetooth and IEEE 1394.
