Ricoh AC205 Multifunction
Ricoh unveiled the AC205 Digital Imaging System, introducing a new generation of MFPs. Featuring full color and B&W scanning, Super G3 Faxing, and advanced copier and network printer capabilities, the AC205 employs an all-in-one toner cartridge design.
B&W printing for PCL6 is stated at 22 ppm - the same as for the digital copying. Thanks to the ability to print on both sides, you can save on paper while using the AC205's copier function. The printer allows you to print on a variety of media including transparencies, labels, card stock and envelopes. A neat feature of this printer is the ability to print documents stored on a USB flash drive, or scan documents directly to it, eliminating the need for a PC in the middle.
You also get advanced functions like Scan-To-Email. With the bundled Readiris Pro 9 OCR software, it's a snap to convert printed documents to text format and then edit it on a PC. Monitoring the printer is easy: just use the included Web Image Monitor Type 103 software to monitor the printer from your browser.
