Epson launched their new 6-color printer, the Epson Stylus Photo R340, a photo-quality printer. The Stylus R340 is a full-featured printer that does not require a PC for printing images directly from memory cards. It also allows you to print directly onto the surface of CDs/DVDs.
The Stylus R340 is equipped with a 2.4" LCD preview monitor, allowing you to select, crop and print photos stored on memory cards, thanks to the inclusion of card slots. Presenting the user with an intuitive set of menus, you can select paper type, size and number of copies - all from the printer, without having to access a PC, making it convenient.
The Stylus R340 also has the option to save images to an external CD-R, Zip or flash memory drive, as well as direct printing from Bluetooth-enabgled phones. It uses individual ink cartridges, thus giving flexibility to users to replace only that ink color which runs out. Quick drying inks mean water-resistant prints on Epson Premium Photo Papers as well. Popular photo sizes can be selected while printing using Epson's BorderFree printing, including 8.5"x11" prints.
