post Category: Cell Phones post postMay 18, 2008

Some doctors from UCLA and Aarhus University in Denmark have recently completed a study about the effects of cell phone use during pregnancy.

The conclusions were at least unexpected. Although I don’t exactly know how they’ve analyzed those 13,000 children they have interviewed and tested but I sure would like to. What the doctors said is that using your cell phone 2-3 times a day while being pregnant increases the chances for your children to get hyperactive or to develop emotional disorders before even going to kindergarten. I wonder if other risk factors combined may have influenced these conclusions although scientist say they have excluded them.

What does this mean? Should pregnant woman stop using their favorite Nokia phone? Sell their smartphones and cancel their plans for 9 months?

What do you think?
