Powermat, the mat which charges your devices wirelessly (provided you strap on a little case on your cellphones etc.), has announced a set of new batteries which be charged wirelessly, without the need for the case/sleeve on your phone — something that instantly makes the Powermat option more attractive. The new batteries, which cost $40, are available for around 10 models from HTC, Blackberry, Nokia, LG, Samsung, Motorola and Sony Ericsson.
