Polaroid with plans to launch a PMP

|

polaroid-pmp1.jpgIn the world of portable media players there is always space for popular companies to launch one more product on the market, and that is why Polaroid (which dedicated its time to camera and DVD related products) decided to announce its newest device the past week.

The Polaroid PMP doesn't bring anything new to the already-big-list of players, but in case you are a fan of the company it is worth taking a look. The multimedia player can play video, audio and show images, more specifically MPEG4, MP3s and JPEGs.

The storage capacity is pretty low, taking in consideration that actual players have 2GB or 4GB as normal capacities, the Polaroid people only put 512MB. But in case you need extra storage (limit is 4GB) there is a microSD memory card slot.

Other features include a FM tuner, a voice recorder, a USB slot, and a battery life of 20 hours in playback mode.
