Pogoplug update to allow printing from any mobile deviceBy Mark Rollins - 06/30/2010 1:47:15 PM |
Remember that Android update to Pogoplug that we reported about? Pogoplug is about to get another update with its “web printing” feature.
According to the company, users can print from the iPhone, iPad, or Android from anywhere in the world, for the first time. This is because the Pogoplug uses “cloud computing” so that any hard drive or even thumb drive can be accessed from anywhere there is an internet connection.
The good news is that the user won’t need any special drivers to make this work, as it is compatible with all HP printers and Epson printers released since 2005. We will see how will this can work.
