CES isn’t just about everything shiny. Once in a while, a really useful technology would be showcased. Take for example, PocketFinder and PocketFinder Pets. The location device technology is designed to monitor the whereabouts of anyone you put the small cookie-sized device onto. This makes it ideal to be used on children and for those who don’t have control of their own actions such as those afflicted with Alzheimer’s and mental illnesses. You can set boundaries or limits wherein which, when crossed would trigger an alert. With the new added “High Impact Alert” technology, you would even be notified if the one you’re monitoring experienced “force beyond a predetermined limit.” PocketFinder costs USD$100 plus the monthly service costs.
