Pocket Projector from Nippon SignalBy Chris - 08/02/2008 5:11:51 PM |

Nippon Signal has just released its new pocket projector prototype. Just in time to battle Mint’s V10 or Dell’s projector. This projector measures only 90 x 55 x 20mm and it uses a MEMS scanner to project images at 800 x 600 SVGA resolution.
Nippon Signal had a prism lens made especially for this gadget as it appears that advanced optics make possible such a small sized projector. From what I see so far the V10 seems like a better choice, but hey, I didn’t get my presentations on any of them and I don’t even know what Dell has been up too. Nippon’s pocket projector is yet to be released. Hopefully by the time it will hit retailers, projected image quality will be significantly improved.
