Plantronics Calisto Home Phone with multi-function Bluetooth headset

A recent Plantronics filing with the FCC reveals an innovative new home phone, which mimics some of the functions we've become familiar with in mobile phones. The cordless telephone set features a handset, charging station, and a Bluetooth headset device. The headset is versatile and adjustable, and can be worn comfortably on either your right or left ear. The handset features a belt clip, so you can carry around your phone (like a cell phone), as well as a speakerphone function. Switching between handset, headset and speakerphone is relatively simple, and requires only a few steps.

As this is merely an FCC filing, we do not yet know what the pricing or availability is on this device, but a launch can't be too far off now.
