Pioneer Z series X-Z9, X-Z7 Audio System and IDK-90C iPod Dock
Pioneer has presented a couple of new products including sound systems and a special iPod dock. While the new audio systems are on the Z series ? X-Z9 and X-Z7 ? the iPod related product is in a class of its own.
As for the main specification of each sound systems, both supports lots of different formats, such as SACD (Super Audio CDs), normal CDs, CD-R and CD-RW. On top of the 4 types of CDs, the players also support MP3 and WMA files. Additionally there is a USB port that can playback more audio formats, including MPEG-4, AAC, WAV and FLAC.
If you don't want to listen to music via CDs or MP3s, there is still FM and AM radio. The Pioneer XC-Z9 offers 50W output and weights 9.6kg, and the XC-Z7 also provides the same 50W and is a bit lighter at 5.9kg.
