Phone Card Depot, Canada’s largest retailer of prepaid long distance phone cards by e-mail acquired the domain “countrycode.ca” to provide international dialing instructions to its prepaid calling card users. The amount paid for the domain and existing database and servers were acquired for an undisclosed amount.

When Phone Card Depot was asked about the acquisition: Mr. John Thomas, PR Manager for Phone Card Depot replied that “Country Code is the perfect resource, our users will be happy to see that we [Phone Card Depot] continue to provide them with more than just affordable long distance”.
