Philips’ V808 will run OPhone OS, launch for China Mobile

Earlier this week a few images of what was supposed to be Phillips‘ first Android powered mobile phone, entitled the V808, hit the web.

Well today, we now have some more details on the device that seem to be a bit more confirmed. We now know that the V808 will run OPhone OS, a China Mobile developed operating system based on Android, and launch exclusivly on China Mobile.

Now there’s no word on when, if ever, we will see this phone released worldwide but chances are, if it does, we will see it running Android as opposed to OPhone OS.
