The previous Philips GoGear MP3 Players we mentioned – SA5225 and SA6045 – were pretty good, but Philips has gone downhill and released a lower-end device codenamed GoGear SA2940.
According to Philips, this is their first portable media player that uses a OLED screen that can display colors, a bit strange to say the least. Anyhow, the GoGear SA2940 will boast 4GB of storage capacity, and support for MP3, WMA, and WAV files.
The connectivity to other devices is made via USB 2.0, and it has all the extras from a Philips point of view: built-in equalizer, voice recording, radio FM tuner.
Unfortunately there is no information about the price or release date.

I don’t want to be the grammar police(not getting paid enough to deal with the criticism)- BUT- come on …. has went instead of gone? I just want the next generation geeks to have a proper command of the language. Many just don’t know what this sounds like to certain people, and I hate to see people judged by their misuse of basic grammar when they are far too intelligent to have to deal with this crap.
