13 Nov 08 Pharos releases Traveler 117 and 127
Pharos already had the GPS Phone 600 and 600e available for T-Mobile customers, but they’ve added two new products entitled Traveler 117 and 127.
Much like the other models, the Travelers are categorized as “GPS Smartphones” and strangely enough they come unlocked, meaning that a 3.5G connection is possible. The 2 new products will be the first ones to make use of Pharos Smart Navigator – their hybrid navigation system that has location services as its main feature.
Other features on the Pharos Traveler 117 and 127 include traffic information, lots of POIs, a fresh “Follow Me” service, and turn-by-turn navigation via voice system.

this is defenitely a nice gadget, look are great but it’s pretty expensive as well. One have to look it’s wallet and available similar products with sligtly loaded but with in the reach of pocket. http://www.knowtheworldaround.com

Purchased Traveler 117 from Dell 6/3/2009 and am very upset with the unit. Phone drops service (AT&T) for no reason. Hard to work the touch screen, tap on one item and another comes up. Would not recommend this unit to anyone. Dell will not do anything as they have a 21 day return policy. Most companies have a 30 day money back guarantee. Be careful before you purchase this unit.
