Hooray, that iPad is finally official. And you know what? It is already out of date. Sure the iPad has touchscreen technology, but wouldn’t it be better if it had a pressure-sensitive touchscreen?
UK researchers at Peratech say that with the use of “quantum tunneling”, users can simply press down a little bit harder to get something new on their touchscreens. Peratech could have this technology on mobile devices with touchscreens as early as April.
