|

pelican_7060.jpgThe Los Angeles Police Departmentâ„¢ (LAPD) has partnered up with Pelican Products to create the Pelican 7060 LED Flashlight for use as the standard issue tactical/patrol flashlight. It uses 1 Watt LED technology to provide a brilliant 130 lumen output, which exeeds most other tactical flashlights. Battery life is about 90 minutes after each charge with its 3.7v 2200mAh Lithium-Ion battery. With the grenade grip pattern and dual-switch (swith on tail and body), users can grip the flashlight in several positions to quickly control activation. The dual switches include a momentary pause mode which disorients the suspects with a rapidily pulsing light without giving up an officers position This lightweight, but very powerful flashlight will be available to the public in June.
