Patent Filed for PDA with Detachable Mobile Phone
With a vast amount of electronics mixing all kinds of devices and putting them into one unit, a new addition may be coming eventually in the form of a PDA with a removable mobile phone. Recently a patent has been filed for a PDA that includes a hidden detachable phone. This device will contain all the same functions of your standard PDA, just with an addition of a detachable phone. The mobile phone can be found housed in a recess behind the back panel of the PDA. With the phone docked inside the PDA, synchronization is possible between the phone and PDA. The tiny cellular phone can perform only basic functions such as answering calls, text messaging, and a phonebook. Although a clever idea, if marketed, this device doesn’t seem like it would be very popular among consumers.
