Panelfly’s iPad app can read comics better than an e-reader

500x_pftopOne of the limitations of these new e-book readers is the reading of graphic novels. Since most have only monochromatic abilities, the full color is removed. Not to mention the small screens that e-readers have were not made for comic book-sized pages.

Panelfly has made a comic book iPhone app that will soon be applied to the iPad. This free app can be made to read comics as if you were holding the traditional ones in your hands. The app, is free, but you’ll have to pay for the individual comics.

Yes, this could change print media as we know it, but do you think that comic book collectors don’t want their traditional issues in the plastic bags? I don’t think so.
