Earlier today Panasonic released a new netbook that is suppose to be used in medical environments. It is named Toughbook H1 and was presented in Japan.
One of its best specifications is the weight, only 1.5Kg. It might seem like a lot, but don’t forget to take in consideration this is a “robust and strong PC”, better than others in the security department due to the unusual environments in which it will be used. In terms of performance, it sports an Intel Atom processor running at 1.86GHz, comes with 1GB of memory RAM, and a SSD hard-drive of 80GB.
The Panasonic Toughbook H1 has all the extras that normal netbooks have, like Wi-Fi, GPS, and a LCD touchscreen of 10.4-inches.
A nice example is a mode which will show you where you forget to wipe the screen and where you have to clean it. Basically you just wipe your H1 screen and if you missed an area (of the touchscreen), the H1 will show you the uncleaned area.
